He is between sizes and the small you recommended definitely fits him better. He had a Gentle Leader Easy Walk harness but it was too clunky and too heavy for him. Being a terrier, he is strong and can be quite a puller. Your harness is lightweight yet definitely encourage "civilized" walking. Best of all, it is very comfortable to wear. You guys modified one for her and we are loving it . I had been useing a pinch collar which made her not pull as hard but didn't teach her anything. I am happy to say that bella is doing so well with her harness and when she pulls she looks up at me not at what ever has her attention , we are thrilled ! thank you L. McDonald My PBGV (a French hunting hound about 30 pounds) has used your Sense-tion harness for 1 1/2 years with great success. He was a terrible puller everytime he sniffed something he wanted to explore. Now I can easily walk both my dogs together with no pulling. I didn't want to use the nose harness because I knew my dog would spend all his time trying to get it off. He doesn't mind wearing the harness one bit and never has. It is obviously comfortable and best of all, it works! J. Franzen Wow! I'm a believer! First, your telephone support is fantastic. I believe it was Linda I spoke with yesterday, who was very patient as I tried to get the Sense-ible to fit properly on my greyhound Dandi. She finally figured out what I was doing wrong, and suddenly everything fell into place. But I was even more impressed today when I walked Dandi for the first time in the Sense-ible. I was astonished that from the first few steps, he was walking beautifully on lead. No pulling, lungeing - he even saw a field mouse run in front of him and didn't attempt to take off in pursuit - and all this without even a subtle cue with the lead. And what impressed me most was that his body language was relaxed, without any evidence of stress or anxiety. I'm going to measure my other greyhound, Mafi, for a Sense-ible, as well as my two IGs; it's finally going to be a pleasure going for a group walk! (BTW, I walk at least 5 dogs at a time.) I started to train him as soon as I got him, knowing that he would grow bigger and bigger as the months went on. He did very well, but when he got excited he would pull me all over. I ordered one of your Sense-ible harnesses for my 3 year old shepherd mix. Though he walks pretty well with a standard leash and collar, I just don't like the idea of using a dog's neck for "control." My dog took to the harness almost instantly, and he now enjoys walking right at my side, looking up now and then to see which direction we're going to take. I reinforce this with treats whenever he makes eye contact, and this method is working beautifully for us. We're really taking walks "together" now, and having a great time. I have two bruising 70+ pound male boxers named Tyson and "G" which usually made walking quite a chore ( and I'm 250 pounds). I received my sense-ation harness in the mail today and was blown away at the results. Tyson walks with little to no resistance and as proud as a peacock in the noble boxer trot. I'm so happy with the results because now my wife can take the boys for a walk and I don't feel bad if I'm gone for the night. Thank You Very Much!!!!!!!!!! Dowell, Maine I received my order of the new wonderful Sense-ation harness. I tried it on my co-workers naughty lab (imagine a naughty lab). It took me awhile to fit it. But, she walked wonderfully with it. Took it to our HS where I volunteer. We put it on a Newfie mix who is the naughtiest dog there at the moment. No manner whatsoever. Everyone hates to take her out because she pulls so hard, jumps, and hurts you. She got away from volunteers 5 times over the weekend I was told. We took her on the driveway away from all the dogs and she pulled a few times, then walked beside me like a completely trained dog. I asked 2 other people to walk her. They were speechless at how wonderful she was. I brought my dog out of the car. She is a bouncy Malinois rescue and walked and ran her in front of the HS dog. No lunging, crying, jumping etc. Wow, we said. Ok, let’s take her back to the kennel area with all the distractions and barking and excitement. She was still very very good. They came from a divorcing couple and I was their only chance to be adopted together. As you know Boxer's are very sweet personable dogs, but they are very strong willed. They came with lots of baggage and needed to learn sit, down, stay, right and left turns, slow, wait, and other basic commands. They had never been walked on a leash so they would take me for a DRAG. It was impossible! I saw Softouch in the Whole Dog Journal next to head halters which I attempted to use a year ago -bought and took back the same day (I did not like the obvious stress this placed on their personalities). Today I am in Heaven. Rosie and Jigg's are very happy obedient walkers .Their harnesses came two days ago. I fitted them and let them get comfortable wearing them yesterday. I walked them both at the same time; no pulling, heads held high ("very different from the head halters”). Very happy dogs; no pulling, both at my right side waiting for my every command - what a delight. I salute you! Thanks so much. I really missed not walking them. This is great. The only thing that could be more impressive would be to show you a video “before and after”. We just got back from our second walk. What I really wanted to tell you was that the person who recomended the harness is a local dog walker we used last week. As fate would have it I saw her out on her walk yesterday with five dogs...big dogs. Labs, Chesapeeks and Weimeraner. The item of note was that only one of the dogs was wearing the Sense-ible harness and she was the only dog that wasn't pulling and going stir-crazy as I approached the pack. And, that dog is my neighbor and I'm confident it hasn't had a significant amount of training. It was nice to see. D.B. Lisa Chafee I just wanted to write to say what a wonderful product the SENSE-ible harness. I kept on hearing about how wonderful these harnesses are but I had to find out for myself. I purchased 3 for my Dalmatians and decided to test them out in my back yard where we have a large squirrel population and my dogs all love the great squirrel chase. The harness stopped them in their tracks which is amazing to have 3 Dalmatians on leashes and not feel any tugging. Great Product! I would highly recommend it to my students. Dara Ashton
